While sitting through dinner with my pops the other day we were discussing my adventures in Johnnyland. He completely threw me off when he stated "well you've been to one of the Johnny cities many times." To which I replied with a confused glance. Come to find out Mr. Cash sings a rather funny tune about good ol' Michigan City, Indiana. Now is the part I am completely flabergasted! Who kept me in the dark about this for so long? Why has nobody told me? Anyways, turns out the song was released in 1976 about VanDyke Grigsby: confined for 66 years at the M.C. Prison for murder. It's kinda catchy :)
